Puzzle Mine is a chess training app by King Hanzo. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

Account Information. When you sign in with Google, we collect account information needed to create and manage your Puzzle Mine account, such as your Google account identifier, email address, display name, and profile photo if provided by Google.

Puzzle and Training Data. We collect information needed to provide the app's chess training features, such as puzzle attempts and solved puzzle status, favorite puzzles, My Training Packs and filters, board and app preferences, and waitlist registration for future My Blunders features if you choose to register.

Notification Data. If you tap Get Notified for My Blunders or otherwise allow notifications, we collect and store your device push notification token, such as a Firebase Cloud Messaging token, so we can send notifications you requested.

Purchase and Subscription Data. If you purchase a subscription, purchases are processed by Google Play and RevenueCat. We receive subscription status and entitlement information, such as whether your account has Pro or Pro+ access. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

Device, Diagnostics, and Usage Data. We may collect app diagnostics and usage information to improve reliability and performance, such as crash reports, app version, device and operating system information, basic usage and performance events, and server request logs needed for security, debugging, and abuse prevention.

How We Use Information

We use collected information to sign you in, manage your account, provide puzzle practice, training packs, favorites, app preferences, send requested notifications such as My Blunders availability updates, manage subscriptions and paid feature access, improve app performance and reliability, prevent abuse, protect the service, and respond to support and account deletion requests.

Sharing Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information only with service providers that help us operate the app, including Google Firebase for authentication and app services and push notifications, Google Play for purchases and subscriptions, RevenueCat for subscription management, analytics, crash reporting, logging and monitoring providers used to maintain app quality, and hosting and database providers used to run Puzzle Mine.

These providers process information according to their own privacy and security practices.

Data Retention

We keep account and training data while your account is active or as needed to provide the app. We may keep limited records where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or purchase accounting.

Push notification tokens are kept while they are linked to your account or until they are no longer valid, you disable notifications, or you request account deletion.

Your Choices

You can disable push notifications at any time in your device settings. If notifications are disabled, Puzzle Mine will not be able to send push notifications to that device.

Account Deletion

You can request account deletion by contacting puzzlemineapp@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account.

When you request deletion, we will delete or anonymize personal information associated with your Puzzle Mine account unless we need to retain limited information for legal, security, fraud prevention, or payment record purposes.

Children

Puzzle Mine is a chess training app. If you are under the age required by your country or region to manage your own Google account or make purchases, you should use the app only with permission from a parent or guardian.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted transport for data sent between the app and our services.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app changes. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and make the updated policy available.
